Our Story

Since 1951

Henry Mast, Sr. immigrated from The Netherlands in 1948 with his wife, three children, $500, and a dream. He opened the greenhouse in 1951 and began a legacy of quality plants grown in state-of-the-art facilities. Throughout our early history Henry Mast Greenhouses operated independently as a grower and distributor. His son Henry Mast, Jr. took over the business after his father retired and took it to new heights. We currently have a board of owners responsible for the growth you see today. Since 2003, our clients have recognized us as Masterpiece Flower Company, bringing sales, merchandising, and expanded transportation services to our customers.
